Fallout 4 has a lot of mysterious places that harbor dark secrets, which should come as no surprise considering everything that has happened in the franchise up until this point. A lot of places will need some extra work to get into or to learn all there is to learn about them.

How To Start The Devil's Due
Players wanting to start the quest can do so in one of two ways. The longer way is to speak to the guards around the Diamond City until one of them mentions rumors about the Museum of Witchcraft. Once they say this, the quest to investigate the museum will appear in the quest logs. However, if players want to skip this step, they can just travel to the Museum of Witchcraft in Salem and travel to the right side of the museum (while looking at the museum). There, they will find a body and be able to start the quest.

The Devil's Due Walkthrough
As mentioned above, players will want to find the body that is located to the right of the museum. This body is that of Private Hart, whose Holotape is in his inventory. Upon listening to the Holotape, players will learn that Hart's crew was using the museum as a place to hide from someone (or something) who was chasing them. The quest marker will then update to point toward a cellar door just a few feet from the body.

Once inside, players will need to head upstairs. On the way there, they will get the sense that something evil is in the museum, as bodies will litter the floor. Upon reaching the top floor, players will find a Deathclaw (which is surprisingly a complex enemy), who will attack the player (unless it is snuck past). After dealing with the Deathclaw, head into the bathroom and find the body of Sergeant Lee. Just like with the last body, there will be a Holotape that will be in the inventory.
Upon listening to the Holotape, the player will learn that Hart and Lee's crew were hiding in the Museum of Witchcraft after they stole an egg from a nearby Deathclaw nest. Upon finding this out, the mother Deathclaw followed them to the museum in hopes of getting the egg back. The player will need to grab the egg and can either sell it or return it.

What To Do With The Pristine Deathclaw Egg

After learning about the events that happened at the Museum of Witchcraft, the player has to decide what to do with the Deathclaw egg that was stolen. There are two options: return it or sell it, both of which offer their own rewards.
- Return the egg: Returning the egg to the nest near Parsons Creamery allows the player to obtain the Deathclaw Gauntlet, a melee weapon.
- Sell the egg: The egg can be sold to Wellingham in Diamond City. This will give the player 200 Caps and a recipe for Deathclaw Wellingham.
There is also a secret third option that players have found. If the player goes to the Deathclaw nest, the Deathclaw there is friendly unless they leave the area with the egg. Instead, they can grab the Deathclaw Gauntlet and fast-travel to Diamond City to sell the egg. Since they don't leave the area with the egg, the Deathclaw won't turn hostile. For players who don't want to do this, the option of returning the egg is the best.
